  • Is Lennox the best HW of all time?

He avenged his 2 only losses, and the reason he lost was due to his complacency or lucky shots.
Came back and avenged his 2 losses with ease.

Had a killer uppercut, and was a very smart fighter who had good movement and had very good body punches.

6'5 and 250 odd pounds, hardly any heavyweight would stand up to him.

He's a great DEFIANTLY,but he faced all the other legends at their tale end's of their career. Holyfield,Tyson,Foreman. Thats the only thing's that I see in which is stopping him from being the greatest. Its not his fault, but yeah. What can ya do.

              Joe Louis
              ALI
              Foreman
              Smokin Joe
              Prime Tyson
              even Prime Norton
              Sonny Liston
              Larry Holmes
              all would defeat LEWIS

No. The heavyweights now should be a different division (in terms of the size they fight at) Other divisions have the help of a weight cap, this once great division enjoys no such luxury. Because of that, other time heavyweights have gotten bigger and bigger. So it's hard to compare a 60's or 70's great to a 80's or 90's great. Regardless, Lennox and his accomplishments, don't measure up against other, GREATER heavyweights, p4p.

No he isnt, but he is one of the best. If you put him up against the "old school" he has a good shot against pretty much any of them. He isnt the best, but he is up there. But as far as most "OG's" are concerned, nobody that ever fights in the future can ever be even close to as good as the people that they grew up watching. The best from the past will always be considered the best to them, so there isnt any point in even discussing it.
