Let's all remember that MAB was outboxing JMM for the first half of the fight. If Pac had gone in as his usual self, I think the consequence would have been the same - MAB winning the rounds by outboxing the slugger.

To be honest I saw PAC matured as a more complete fighting by boxing and outboxing MAB. It seemed almost like PAC was going for a decision just to say he could also win by a UD verses having to over power house his opponents to win?
However I noticed alot of people, especially those of you who bought the PPV instead criticizing PAC saying he was lazy, gased out, weak, fatigued etc. I really did not see that at all. I saw a more mature disciplined fighter that night that was sticking to a new game plan and executed it effectively.
I know to the ignorant viewer they may think it was not as impressive as Pac's past explosive KO/TKO wins, but I was actually a bit more impressed that he proved he could again outbox one of the best boxers of his time convincingly and wisely. Part of me wanted it to go the distance just cause supposedly Pac has never won a decision on US soil as one fellow ringside fellow told me. Also it in a way reinstates faith in Pac as a legit complete package and not just a one sided dimensional powerhouse.
On Pac's defense alone i was impressed. When he made MAB miss he made MAB miss him by a mile.
I am interested in what you guys who saw the fight at home or even if you were at the mandalay bay as well thought HONESTLY.

one really BAD ASSS thing that they did at this fight that they dont normally do was they played the BAD ASSS HBO THEME SONG INTRO LOUD AND PROUD throughout the mandalay bay to kick off the main event. usually when you attend a HBO fight they never play the theme song out loud only from the tv production do u get to get hyped up by the theme song, but the mandalay bay was getting pumped up once the song came blasting from the speakers.
also at then end they blasted larrys interview with manny but i couldnt hear shiiiit cuz i was seated on the other side of the ring. i think only peeps sitting on the hbo side can hear whatever the F he was saying.
what did larry say to manny? if i had to guess he was criticizing him for not training hard enough and not getting the ko?
