Simple question.
Who Hits Harder Mosley or Cotto?

mosley has power, but you're right- aside from vargas it hasnt been displayed in a long time. and vargas was pretty much right in front of him to take the punishment and he was gone in 6. vargas also has the back problem thing to point to.
that said however- i don't see cotto being hard for mosley to hit. and i've said before that unless cotto comes into this fight with some new tricks for his defense i see him getting blasted like vargas did. vargas and cotto are both forward fighters who are very imposing- and as we've seen that plays into mosley's offense pretty perfectly.
no KO against collazo- fundamentally sound and good southpaw boxer
no KO/win against Winky- one of the best defensive fighters there is and a southpaw
no KO/win against Forrest- tall southpaw boxer
no KO against Estrada or Cruz- neither fighter had ever been KO'd up to their fights with mosley, and mosley was coming off losses to winky
no KO against Oscar- oscars only been stopped by B-Hop, kind of a big size difference here.
all i'm trying to point out is that i have a little trouble seeing cotto presenting the kinds of problems that have overcome mosley in the past. he's a come forward orthodox fighter who can be hit.
the only legitamit thing that could fold mosley up is his age, but watch his last fight and it's hard to picture that factoring in as well.Comment
