of course your gonna be confident Addison .. look how many frikin Mosley-Cotto bets your making .. lol

this is a very close and pretty evenly matched fight

If Cotto doesn't get kayo'd ... Shane will be broken down and stopped late due to accumulation body shots
This is the standard line on Cotto these days..

      Guess what?

      It's been wrong already.

      Ask Paulie Malignaggi.

I'm favoring Cotto, mainly because of Shane's involvement with roids. However, objectively speaking, it's a close fight IMO.

          Perhaps, perhaps not.

Any fighter gets hit on the button; it's over.

          Mosley or Cotto.

According to everyone on this forum.

Cotto's button has been hit several times. The man just doesn't go down.

He has a heart of a lion.

Mosley's power shots could be the storyline. From jump.

Try not to forget Judah badly buzzed Cotto twice EARLY.

Most people tend to agree Mosley won't be backing off the way Judah did if he gets Cotto stunned..
have you seen Mosley vs Jose luis Cruz? Cruz was the definitition of come forward but did absolutely nothin. Shane did some backing up an but in most of the exchanges Shane simply met him in the middle without doing a lot at least until Cruz fired first. I think Shane will want to "be first" against Cotto and definitely not wait around for counter opportunities. Can Shane win a slugging match against Cotto, yeah but he could also lose that sluggin match if Cotto has it his way and is allowed to dictate.

Well, he has gone down.. We know that.

On the button? That we don't know.

He's been wobbled by an assortment of punches from different fighters however.

Oh definately. I don't think Mosley should wait.

                  And he does that ALOT.

This is not the fighter to wait on, that's agreed.

So can he knock him out? Sure... Will He? I doubt it?

Cotto's been in the ring with Malignaggi, Quintana, & Judah, (3 southpaws with good foot-speed/movement), so i'm pretty sure he had to be more than "1 dimensional" to get em out of the there. Cotto is not that slow, & is more of a boxer-puncher than Shane is. Shane usually just fights str8 up (No lateral movement, no footwork at all) pawing his jab to set up for the big right hand. Shane never really was a "boxer" he had good hand-speed, power, & athletic ability! Also he has absolutely no defense (hands held low, no head movement, nata) His great chin & heart allow him to get away with it. That also means he has the "warrior mentality", meaning he doesn't back away from trading! He doesn't make adjustments at all, If his opponent neutralizes his speed & power then usually he is clueless & doesn't quite know what to do. (hince, De la hoya II, Both Forrest & Wright fights) The instructions he recieves from his Father don't help much either.

Cotto's a some-what slow starter but gets stonger as the fight progesses. Meanwhile Shane's stamina has raised question marks for sometime! I know Shane's a HOF but i believe that Cotto will be rocked & possibly dropped early, but he will weather the storm & come back in the later rds (8-10) & to drop Shane (accumulation of punches) with a body shot that Mosley will gladly take the 10 count on!
