I've got Calzaghe by split decision, but he is going to be hurt for the first time in ages. His experience really should show.

He's another guy in a long line of people who say that Calzaghe doesn't hit hard, but Joe has managed 32 stoppages in 43 fights. Even though Calzaghe keeps winning he is still underrated by all of his opponents.

I dont want too come across as a Calzaghe nuthugger but Calzaghe is not rated as a puncher and is being accused of being a slapper and that is not true ,10 count em 10 first round kO'S that was a Calzaghe stat coming into the Eubank fight and he they were saying exactly the same thing in the commentry in that fight that people have accused him of slapping etc and he proceeded to come out and Flaw Eubank in the 1 round

Eubank has a cast iron Jaw aswell ,squealpiggy good post

It was true in the past..
Present time: last 10 fights, 50% stoppage.

Joe uses volume over power now, the numbers speak the truth.

A hard puncher KOs people , Joe is a volume puncher thats gets a ref to stop the fight ,,, Joe dont punch hard in terms of a one punch KO puncher , thats why his career is full of TKOs and not KOs ,,,, Kessler is the best in his prime fighter Joe has fought and Kessler is way better than Lacy , at 36 Joe is in for a real hard night in the office believe me .

yes joe used to be a puncher but when you have brittle hands you lose some of the sting. just ask mayweather

sometimes though a 1 punch KO is the result of the punches that have proceeded it ,you can be out on your feet and get KO 'D thus it is a 1 punch KO but it is'nt necessary the last blow that hurt you that done the real damage ,so sometimes what look's like a 1 punch KO can still be an accumilation of punishment

Michael Moorer said he was out on his feet against Foreman before the last shot connected ,thats what im talking about

Anyone who has even the remotest knowledge of Calzaghe's career knows he turned from a ****er into a boxer, primarily due to the fact his hands are now pretty ****.

Can he still ****? Of course he can. If history tells us anything it's that if Kessler manages to tag Calzaghe then he will come out swinging.

calzaghe was seen as a ****er because of his knockout percentage! it wasnt until he schooled eubank his boxing got ackonwledged and his boxing as improved since then thanks to his fathers growing skills as a trainer! calzaghe s one of the best boxers in the world but for kessler really hell need a one punch ko as if u hurt calzaghe he will just throw 50 punches a second at you! watch byron mitchell for an example!
