Can't wait for this fight. I'm picking Joe to win a decision, but nobody should discredit Kessler. He's pretty basic, but basic isn't necessarily bad. He does a lot of things well.

      I actually change my pick.

      Kessler takes this fight.
When Joe opens up his punches are a tad wide and Mikkel will shoot down the middle with his own punches breaking up the Calzaghe flurries.

      Mikkel Kessler UD Joe Calzaghe

The problem with Kessler now is that if he gets knocked out he will look totally ******.

I can`t see Kessler winning this, he's too orthodox and will look slow and ponderous. I see him losing by UD or late stoppage.

Nice to see two respectful guys, classy.

I still pick JC on a close UD.

speed kills power, we heard the exact same thing from Lacy.

thing i dnt get is..he said the wayto beat joe is by not standing still..always being on the move...basically imitating what joe does himself. However from seeing a couple of Kessler fights,he doesnt actually move a great deal...technically very good, excellent jab,but he kinda plants his feet takes centre of the ring, n lets his jab dictate..he doesnt move aroundn punch from different angles....so if Kessler is changing his game plan for this one fight,i think he will lose...asJoe has been fighting this way his whole career, for Kessler to think he can change to asimilar style for one fight and beat him,i think is a mistake.

He does seem a decent guy though, win or lse..i think i like the fella...will look out for his fights in future.

                  calzaghe deserves to be favored.
but there's so many favorable scenarios for kessler.
if they were in denmark i'd say kessler by decision .
i see kessler weathering everything calzaghe throws.kessler has mucho poise like cotto. don't think calzaghe will throw him off like he's done to others.
kessler could punish calzaghe so bad that even the judges has to give it to him.
