Thomas Hearns is over rated. Pavlik would knock his glass jaw out. Sugar Ray would be a ***** like he did against Duran.

pavlik is much bigger than sugar ray.
pavlik winning that one wouldnt really surprise me.
pavlik wouldn't have been a middleweight under different rules.
do u see him actually making 160 lbs 6-7 hourse before the fight?

If 5 weight and 6 weight former world champions can be overrated then....**** me they must be good to be rated in your book mate.
Pavlik looks a decent fighter no more at this stage, he may turn out a true great but whats he done to suggest he even deserves to mentioned along side the likes of Hagler and co?

hagler fought at 160 his whole career, he fought at 160 even when they were weighing in at noon the day of the fight. pavlik is bigger than that, and a better fighter than lalonde. plus lalonde had to shrink himself down from his usual weight due to the contract ray demanded.
hagler arguably beat ray anyway.
pavlik is definitely a tough fight for the much smaller sugar ray.Last edited by Thread Stealer; 10-08-2007, 04:23 PM.

He would ko Hearns? No way in hell. You seen what a decent puncher can do to pavlik. Hearns has way more power than Taylor. I'm saying Hearns would KO pavlik within 4 rounds.
