Taylor got his black ass creamed and if smoger would've let it continue, He would've gotten seriously hurt. Rematch, will probably go the distance because Taylor is going to run like hell next time around.

I think taylor has it in him to beat him if he keeps his hands up and has a bit more head movement he could win a UD but Pavlik could just win in the same fashion as he did last time.

Taylor would have to stop him in my opinion. He can't use his skills and beat Pavlik the taller fighter. Pavlik was nailing him with the jab all night. I don't think he can outbox Pavlik.

yes he does, and i think he can beat him only if he keeps his left hand up and does tire-out or at least punch himself-out and wste energy and punches like he did

He needs to practice handling himself when in trouble. Don't squeamishly back into a corner, hug your man and if absolutely necessary take a knee. Or punch him in the balls.

And keep his left up. He wants to keep the left down and protect his face with his right. but if you want to do that you need to hold the right at a different angle and also keep your shoulder tucked. Not a good strategy against Pavlik anyway.

I'm sure Hopkins feels he could avoid those right hands; but he wants Calzaghe, Pavlik is not moving to 175, and Hopkins will retire before too long.

He knows Calzaghe is the harder fight and that's the one he wants.

Hopkins is just going for the big money fights so he can have a happy retirements. He's not going to look for young upcoming champs. I wouldn't want him to, Hopkins has nothing left to prove he's an all time great IMO.
