Taylor never really looked comfortable as a champion. He always seemed to be more relieved than victorious. I don't see him becoming a champion again, because I think he always looked slightly concerned as a champion, even when fighting far smaller guys who couldn't hit.
It's not like Pavlik is all that and a bag of chips, but I don't think Taylor ever really believed in himself as the top guy at Middleweight and I also think he was unconvinced that he even beat Hopkins in the first place.
Pavlik is a tough balla but Bernard Hopkins will run that sum ***** once they fight. And Taylor will be back I bet he rematches Winky in his next fight and starts finishing fights due to his anger.
Hoskins is back!
Seriously, Pavlik would be a tough fight for anyone, Hopkins included.
He is much bigger then Hopkins and too active to make Hopkins comfortable
taylor could win the rematch but he didn't take pavlik lightly that is obvious
taylor will have to change his ways to win and that is hard to do after 30+ fights
Taylor needs to use his mind more and fight less on instinct. If he used his brain he would have used uppercuts and not blow his wad when he had Pavlik in trouble.

Taylor is plenty dumb in the boxing ring. I think him using his mind is going to get him in even worse trouble. I think Taylor needs his old coach and hopefully as Larry Mechant says "muscle memory strikes again". Taylor was good with Burns, he is average with Steward.
I never understood why Ozzel wanted Pat Burns out? Jermain had great chemistry with him and then Ozzel comes and says he should be out and Taylor obliges.
