I would like Valero to step it up in competition. a lot. forget Pac for now, Pac has better guys to face at the moment.
Know what would be a very very fun fight? BARRIOS
I like the idea of Barrios and Pacquiao too.

But I wonder if that can be made. Barrios' name has lost some luster following his defeat in the hands of Guzman. Not that it was all that big, but it did have some shine after his first round KO victory prior to facing Guzman.

Anyw, ayif Pacquiao, by himself, can draw the crowds--regardless of who the opposition may be--then, I think the idea should be considered.

It's a recipe to what used to be called in the old days, "a humdinger".

The thing that helps Valero in his fight is putting his right hand forward toward the face of his oppennet and then punching with the left. He good reach and that also covers the oppennet sight.

But Pac is also southpaw so he wont be doing that trick so much e****ally when Pac could move forward and backward.

Mosque is Valero biggest win so far

Did you see his sparring with Morales or against other boxers on youtube?
you can say the same **** bout pac. in sparring he uses more head movement, boxes a lil more. uses his jab effectively. but when he's in the bright lights he just wants to fight. he basically throws his tech out the window. same with vargas

actually I meant Barrios vs. Valero, but I wouldnt mind him vs. Pacquiao at all either. but personally, I would like to see Pacquiao against Marquez or the winner of Soto-Guzman man than anything.

btw guys, wth is Fana doing with his title? why not him and Valero go ahead an unify, since theyre not fighting any major top 130lb fighters for their title defences anyway.

Pacquiao-Marquez I think is in the minds of most fans more than any other fight involving Pacquiao. I count myself among them. The winner of Soto-Guzman should be right below the above mentioned.

But I'm wishing that Pacquiao shall be more active next year and have at least three outings. One against Valero is pretty good. But because of Valero's license issues with U.S. boxing commissions, there's close to no chance of it ever coming about on US soil. A realistic way of getting things moving may be for Valero's Japanese handlers to put up an offer that Pacquiao will find foolish to refuse. Money talks, and the bigger the money, the louder it talks.

Valero knows pretty well that his challenge is useless unless his Japanese backers back that challenge up with a good offer. The fight cannot be held in the States and no other country other than Japan can be interested. The PHilippines? I doubt it. Pacquiao carries the Philippine flag wherever he goes, and is an ambulant advertising campaign for the country, so there's little motivation for anyone in the Philippines to cough up so much money for such a fight.

Arum, I think, is also Valero's American promoter, so there should be no problem there. Arum can make the deal with HBO, while Valero's Japanese handlers can take care of the Japan side of the bizniz.

American TV has telecast fights originating from places outside the US, including Japan, so having the fight in Japan should not have any insurmountable stumbling blocks.

Here's hoping that Valero's Japanese friends will soon put their money where Valerro's mouth is so that we can realistically anticipate one helluva good time.

As for Valero-Barrios...yes to that too. I think it shall do Valero's resume a lot of good, granting that he disposes of Barrios in his customary fashion-- a tall order, in my view.
