In the gym he shows his smarts. In a real fight he just gos out to ko the guy. But don't be fooled the guy is very smart. He will end up going to lightweight as well. So sooner or later Pacquioa and him will meet up.

Did you see his sparring with Morales or against other boxers on youtube?

He likes to paw his right hand alot. That right there would get him killed by a brutal Manny left hook.

People please wake the **** up and stop saying Manny would lose to this amaturish Valero.

His record ain't nothing. KO ratio means ****.

Valero doesn't stand a chance in the states. He would get outboxed and sent to school.
      I agree. He's hardly a Technical fighter.

Barrera hasn't been in his prime in at least 7 years. That includes the Morales fight.

From what i read, Valero is a good technical boxer. With sparring, even though sometimes they go toe to toe, the purpose of the sparring is to work on boxing skills for the upcoming fight. In the actual fight, they realy go at it while in sparring, its limited.

Seeing how MAB went about his bizniz against Pacquiao, does anyone here think Valero earned his pay helping Barrera prepare for Pacquiao? How much did he contribute to what?

Valero saying he's he's not impressed isn't saying a lot. Since when has Valero looked impressive from a technical standpoint? He's clearly a bomber first, technician second. Yet we haven't seen him being technical in a real fight. Against Mosquera, he bombed him until they threw in the towel in the later rounds. I don't think Valero can yet be making insults, when he still has to prove himself. That or he's just bitter mad that he can't get in the states yet. Trying to lure Manny out.
