    This fight wasn't boring.

People have just set a standard for a Pacquiao fight too high that anything less than a knockout seems boring.

You can't blames pac poor performance on Barrera. He didnt press the action enough either. Did he do more to win? Yes... but he obviously didnt leave it all in the ring either.

And Manny has had so so performances before. Lets be fair and real here.

And so did DLH, Tito, PBF, MAB, Tyson and any boxer. It's normal, NOBODY's perfect.

I agree, it was an intense fight. Barrera completely figured out Pac in how to prevent his violent assault, but it's just that Barrera didn't do enough offensively, though he had the right game plan.

There were still some good exchanges in an otherwise average fight. The only people who are disappointed are the ones who expected both guys to go to war when that was never the case.

A win is a win no matter how bad or good it is. Winning is more important than losing, if you want to be entertained then look for some other form of entertainment.

Then Barrera goes on his bicycle for 12 rounds with the occasional flurry. I didn't think Manny could be in a boring fight, but this was one of them. My one friend nearly fell asleep and the other one had more enjoyment playing with the pet dog than keeping his eyes on the tv. Really sucks for the most exciting fighter to be in a fight like this and lose entertainment value to those that don't really understand boxing. My friends were like, why doesn't Manny just run right at him bombing away? I'm like, it's not that easy.

youre view of the fight depends on if you watched HBO or Setanta.

Here comes the boxing genius again. You can post all your comments against pacman, but at the end, we all know pacman defeated barrera and send him to retirement as a loser, no matter if his going to be a hall of famer. Defeat taste so bad, and to justify it, you try to hide your sorry faces to the reality. Accept it, pacman defeated barrera twice period. barrera was given a benefit of the doubt to prove himself worthy against pacman, but pacman is the better fighter (barrera even used dirty tactics but to no avail). swallow it with your sorry mouth and shut it up, pacman wins!!!

I thought I'd lose the rag if the fight cut off, but when it actually did...I didn't actually stress, which says a lot about the fight I guess.

Barrera is too good, even over the hill, to get wiped out back to back by the same boxer. He adjusted to meet Pac's attack and held up better than the first time, but he simply cannot cope with Pac's speed. Pac dominated Barrera last night.

Was it just me or did Pac look more winded than usual in the corner in between rounds, especially late? I think he undertrained/wasnt as in shape as he was in the fights prior to this one and could be a reason why he wasnt as aggressive as fights before and instead paced himself. Dunno, maybe Im just clutching at straws lol...
