How can Pavlik pack such power in a rather small frame?

This guy has impressed me quite a bit when he beat Pantera. Now he has beaten Taylor, who i favored to win as a Taylor fan (i still am) more impressively, both by KO! Seeing his build he doesn't look very "strong" but obviously is. HE said it best in his post fight interview when he beat Pantera "Alot of these guys don't think i have much power until they fight me and feel it" Something in this lines. Is there anyone who could possibly handle his power?

Plenty of guys can handle his power, they just have to avoid being hit cleanly by it. That is easier said than done.

his power comes from his long lean mucles
long and lean are much stronger then bulky mucles esp wen it comes 2 boxing
      i.e tommy hearns pavlik cintron..
as far as handleing it yes
someone who can slipp all his punches can handle him but he bound 2 hit u with one and thats all it takes id say winky could ud him if pavliks power dont smash threw hsi defense lol

That's also nearly impossible too during 12 rounds.

          PAvlik got small frame?
          Are you nuts?

He got broad shoulders and long arms, plenty of frame to generate some serious power.

He just does not have muscles of miranda of taylor, but he does not need them either.

I just don't see anyone beating this guy in the near future. I was broken when Taylor was KOed. What a fight he gave him but all in vain. A young Roy Jones maybe but right now it's Pavlik's division.

He's definitely a big MW. In the Taylor fight he seemed bigger than Taylor which you don't see very often since JT is a big MW as well. Plus those long arms that Pavlik has generates good power. HIs punches are short and compact and when he connects it seems to put anybody down no matter what and then he finishes with the best of them.

Pavlik must punch several feet through the target. Way through it.

And he knows how to make that last push at the end. In the middle.

You can't see it when he's landing it, but you can see his technique in that little shovel uppercut that he throws.. It's nice.

He has this extra twitch on some of his punches. He gets the tendons in.
