Why Mosley will beat Cotto

Cotto has not been protected,he has fougt the best competition of any new fighter that i can remember. No tomato cans all good new comers or season veterans. Either way this fight will be a war and whoever wins willbe by KO. IMHO Cotto will beat Mosley! too much presure and too much power but mosley heart and speed will make this a hell of a fight.

i think the fight is wide open, if DLH more or less beat mosley in one of their fights then of course cotto could do it.

Personally, I want Cotto to win even though I usually root american because Mosley took roids, but Mosley has the best chance to beat mayweather imo even at his advanced age. Ideally, it would be a war with cotto winning or Mosley finishing Cotto off by outboxing or ko'ing him really quickly to avoid damage.

Mosley beats Cotto because he's simply better. Better handspeed, experience, etc. Both have stamina and can punch. Cotto's never seen a Shane Mosley.

At the very least, he has seen something closer to Cotto than what Cotto has seen that resembles Sugar Shane Mosley.

Judah or Malignaggi are the closest things Cotto has seen to Shane. Malignaggi doesn't have the power to keep Cotto off, Judah didn't have the stamina. Mosley has both.

Who knows though? Maybe Cotto hasn't showed us this wrinkle in his game, because he hasn't had to yet.

I'm with Addy on this one. When Cotto was nearly knocked the **** out by Torres his management steared him clear away from punchers. If I remember after Torres he fought Branco, Paulie, Quintana, & the hard hitting Urkal lol. None of these fighters are punchers. Cotto's career has been carefully managed but now he's stepping on another level fighting Mosley.

i think cotto is going to stop mosley in the 11th.mosley is a very good boxer but he's getting older and cotto's probably the best body puncher in the game
