I thought it was a much closer fight and Marquez was missing alot as well. It could have gone either way in my opinion the rounds were not landslides by marquez and most of them were very close. You make it sound as if JMM was outclassing John but i thought it was a close fight. your opinion though.

Pac would demolish Katsidis. Didnt KO Amonsot in a sparring session?

Did you even see the fight? lol or are you just judging results?

There were rounds where John wasn't doing anything but running and throwing 1 jab at a time while Marquez was throwing combos and even landing partially........that's scoring for him. What John was doing shouldn't even be considered effective ring generalship.

There were times and I remember two rounds where John threw less than 20 punches. That was par for the course for Marquez' 60 punches thrown.

That was a hometown decision and one of the worst I've seen.

Katsidis would KO Pac. He's the bigger man and hits harder, given a few more fights you will see if they ever meet.

I saw the JMM-John fight. John was fighting not to lose.

and you can see it in the weigh-in pics.

Its gonna be tough in that division, but the new challenge
is what he needs. No need to prove anything more at 130.
It will be harder for him to take the punches at 135. I think we'll see how he does on Sat night first. Some times moving up can be a fighters biggest down fall.

Amonsot is a good fighter who is underrated in my opinion...that's just my opinion.

Exactly Mighty. Katsidis is a very strong lightweight, he has the physical strength of a 140 pound fighter at least and with pac coming up from starting out a 108 or something.

That's what would make his move up to 135 interesting !
Too see how he would take the heavier bombs from the lightweights
Some people say that 130lbs is his limit. I say he could still spring
a few surprises at 135lbs. But I also think that 135 would be his
maximum limit in terms of effectiveness.
