Holyfield winning a belt when he's not one of the top fifty heavyweights would be a total disgrace to boxing. In fact that he got the fight is already a disgrace. If you're rooting for Holyfield I can't imagine what your reasons are.

I was a fan of his fifteen years ago. He's got no business here now.

And even if he wins, it's questionable that he ranks in the top ten. Definitely no higher than #9. But I guess he'd have gotten rid of Sultan for us, not all bad

He's got no business fighting true, but he's clearly in the top fifty. He won his last 4 fights, I think, unless it was 3. In the very shallow Heavyweight pool, all you have to do is keep winning. I'm rooting for Holyfield because him winning a title at this age would be something remarkable, I don't expect it to happen, but it makes for a good story.

Win or lose Holyfield is still going to go down as on of the best and most remembered Heavyweights of all time.

He just beat someone as old as himself, and didn't look great doing it.

Top 50, maybe, but surely not top 30. The pool isn't THAT shallow.

He didnt look horrible either, he's lucky that the pool is shallow, he just might be in the top 30, especially after beating Oquendo. There are so few contenders that winning again after beating him probably puts holyfield in the top 30-25 in the HW division.

For some reason, I don't think this will go to the cards.
