    Official Holyfield vs. Ibragimov Thread

I hope I didnt misspell his name. I've got a feeling that Holyfield is going to get lucky early and find a way to end it. It's not likely, logic says Holyfield gets embarrassed yet again, and I get mad for paying for the fight.

I dont think it'll go to the cards. If you saw Ibragimov's fight with Austin and Holyfields fight with Savarese this fight is gonna end with someone on the canvas.

Hopefully Holi can get the lefthook working, the one he landed on Lou was vintage. That was one punch that'd been au****iously absent in prior fights as of late with the shoulder problems.

I hope Holyfield wins it, but I'm not sure. Ibragimov was dropped by Ray Austin, though, so I guess there's a chance.

I actually think a fight was Ibrag. is about the best possible opportunity Holi could've hoped for to win a title. Ibrag. isnt bad, but I have never been that impressed by him. He earned his belt beating a guy that could hardly throw 10 punches a round for ****s sake. Though it'd be a big upset, this opportunity seems so perfect that its hard to believe the fallout of Chagaev was an accident. Isn't Holi promoted by Don King?

Theres the fact that the fights in Russia, but other than that Holi has alot going for him. Not saying he'll win (i voted for Ibrag. by dec.), but if holi is to win a title, this is exactly the kind of opponent that he will do it against. After that he'd might as well retire imo. Any successful defense would probably be the likes of a briggs or another old man such as Skelton or Mccall (I don't know **** about skelton so don't flame me plz.)

Nothing would suprise me in this fight. Ibragimov is a mediciore fighter and Holyfield is rather shot but maybe still good enough to beat Ibragimov. Even a DQ because of headbuts wouldnt suprise me. The fight could go either way.
