Why would anyone think this fight would be easy for Lacy? Lacy has been off for a long time, and he did not look too great in his last fight (granted, he had a serious injury). But he could get hurt again...then what? Manfredo outboxes him.

This will be a competitive fight if it comes off. I hope Lacy wins but you guys need to get real. Lacy has a lot of proving to do.

Your right I think Lacy is going to have to sc**** some rust off and also mentally with his injury lets see if he's the same. Manfredo didn't look to good against Banks in his last fight, but he's been more active. I think the fight will be tough for Lacy early, but if he's 100 % I see him winning by late KO.

You obviously think very highly of Manfredo, but I'll assure you that if Slapzaghe stopped him early, then so will Lacey..

Manfredo isn't some kind of glass chin fighter. He only got TKOed by Calzaghe because the ref stopped it when there was no danger.

I don't see Lacy easily connecting with his left hook because Manfredo is a little bit of an elusive.

I see Lacy by late KO or decision because he will be busier.

                This makes no sense whatsoever.

                1) The stoppage was questionable. Manfredo was never seriously hurt.

                2) Calzaghe throws more shots, more accurately than Lacy does. He killed Lacy, remember?

I'm with you. If Tsypko wasn't easy, why would Manfredo be?

                    Interesting fight with two 'names'.

Lacy looked good against the Pemberton's and Sheika's of the world. But he has looked the complete opposite after the one sided drubbing against Calzaghe.

I'm picking that it's good fight and boxing fans are the winners.

Are we still crying about this? Hurt or not, the point is that he was overwhelmed by slaps!

He doesn't have nearly the power that Jeff does and Lacy is extremely accurate. He just wasn't so against Slapzaghe.. Obviously you just started watching Lacy during the Calz fight.. Manfredo got stomped by Alfonso Gomez (a welter weight) and Mora for crying out loud..
