Now with Floyd, on the other hand, casual fan needs to put a lot of time into a research just to understand on what basis did Floyd get a win.
that is so true there are so many apologist Floyd fan's who seem to be the only people who get excited by his style ,he is very very talented but he is not by any stretch of the imagination EXCITING or EXPLOSIVE to Boxing fan's in general

Tyson did not care about his image. Everything didn't matter.

Floyd is obsessed with self-importance. He wants fans to love him by proclaiming he's the greatest.

floyd and mike are both money-hungry, but the difference is that tyson doesnt know how to use his money.

LoL......and Floyd does??? All Floyd does is spend his money on Bling, rims, cars, ********, more bling, and paying people to hang out with him. Does that sound like somebody who knows how to manage money well? Floyd is a fad, and will be put on the back burner as soon as he loses his first fight. Remember i said that. Let him keep on with his foolish spending. He will end up like Leon Spinks in 15yrs from now, Working at a fast food joint, or cleaning toilets.

Tyson traded with Lennox Lewis. Floyd wouldn't even trade with Carlos Baldomir. End of story.

Tyson was a young (the youngest), heavyweight (The division that has always gotten the most attention) champion and was knocking people out in a time when boxing was more popular than it is today.

Because he was a Circus attraction. His early years as a contender and then Undisputed Champion are the only years he was really loved and taken serious.

Everything else was just a circus act. Mike Tyson the third world wonder. It was like presenting King Kong in a cage and people ate it all up.

He was a great fighter. A destructive force never seen before or since in boxing. The most dominant heavyweight champion ever in the late 80's. Compelling as hell to watch, what he brought to the ring. The Jack Dempsey truncks and shoes he had it all.
