short heavyweight + furious KO's
tyson was a straight up physical anomaly for a few years there.
mayweather is a sharp boxer who doesn't make hardly any mistakes, but who also doesn't ice people like mike did way back when.
pretty irrelevant to each other though to be honest.Comment

that's true. your right.
but tyson could have went down to cruiserweight, but that would be the most ridiculous thing to do, having to go down to 180-200, loosing muscle etc.

Because tyson had that killer instinct which most boxing fans like. His main goal was to knock his opponents out and he did it in an exciting fashion. Mayweather doesn't do that.Comment

Not sure what race has to do with it?
Mike Entertained and was exciting to watch.
He came into a dire division and brought life back to boxing in a big way.
Until 1990 he was undsiputed by destroying all in his way.
Mike had the air of invicibility about him as well.
Comparing Floyd to Mike is sacrilidge in my opinion.
Tyson may have been an ass outside the ring but you can't deny the excitement he generated inside it.
Tyson>Mayweather forever.
In 200 years people will still be watching Tyson whereas no-one will remember the name Floyd Mayweather Jr.
I bring up race because if Tyson happened to be white, im sure some racially insecure people here would've been like "Tyson was loved because he is white and Floyd is black"Comment
