    Taylor Spinks

You obviously dont get the point.
Ok you are right about how those performances were viewed but when it all boils down the only thing that really matters is that they won IMO.

Mayeather's first opponent at 134 (after 1 w/ Augustus a few fights prior) was JLC, or hell; Oscar at 150? You're trying to pretend Pac's record is somehow larger than life while Mayweather's is purely padded and risk-free. Take of the blinders and acknowledge that neither's blows the other's out of the water. They've each had higher times and lower times.
No, I'm saying that Pac had gone DIRECTLY to the best as he stepped up in weight. Something that Floyd did not exactly do.

He was P4P #1 and recognized by many as the best. PBF doesn't get anymore accolades than that but he scrutinized on a whole different level.

No that isn't the only thing that matters. Great fighters fight great in losses as well as wins. They fight great period. Fighters that arn't great do not fight great in wins or in losses.

OMG! Pacquiao's first fight at at super bantamweight was against some dude named Reynante Jamili! He's clearly hand picking opponents! OMG! His first fight at Featherweight was against some dude named Serikzhan Yeshmagambetov! He's such a ducker!

              Get real.

p4p didn't mean as much back then. He was never the focal point boxing. Not anything near it.

I can accept the bold but guess what Bernard fought the fight that would win him the fight not the fight that would please the fans. Taylor fought a good fight but made a ****** mistake trying cancel out all of the critism he had been receiving for previous performances and it cost him dearly.

I really feel neither point is hard to understand. I just that winning is more important than anything else. So I have no problem with a fighter doing what is best for them and saying **** everything else.

What's your beef with Reynante Jamili? He fought a competetive fight with Erik Morales! Yeshmangbetov was a Russian champion with a good record.

Just because a fighter hasnt fought in the States doesnt mean he is bad comp. There are good fighters outside the States you know.

Only haters such as you would classify Pac as a ducker then say Floyd fought the best. For shame.

All of that is true but why should PBF fight differently when he has not been made to fight differently is all I'm asking. Why should he fight another mans style of fight just please other people? When many people already enjoy the way he fights. You can't please everybody and I feel its foolish to unneccessarily put yourself in harms way to please someone when you don't have to.
