Pavlik at 160 and 168 makes him look his age (the beat-up version too) after 12.
    Amen brotha!

I like Kelly but I think bhop is too slick despite his age for pavlik. Master boxer bhop will know exactly what to do to frustrate the ghost.

How can Kelly be hype, when he destroyed 2 hyped up fighters (Miranda & Taylor). I think regardless, he is the real deal, whether he goes on to win or lose in his next fight. He did something, no one else managed to do to either of those fighters.

          This is getting entertaining.

Not only did Taylor almost knockout Pavlik, he was headed for a descision victory. Based on the ebb and flow of the fight Taylor could have reinvigorated himself once again. Taylor showed life in the 12th round of his first fight with Hopkins, as well as in the 12th with Winky Wright.

Some observers describe the right that Pavlik landed in the 7th as being out of nowhere. It was far from that IMO - but it was certainly another big moment in a fight with some surprises. I'll bet the Pavlik supporters weren't expecting what happened in the 2nd.. They wouldn't have expected it again if it came again in the 9th. Taylor was by all outward appearance taking the round off when Pavlik put him to sleep.

Taylor ****ed up. He beat himself as much as Kelly Pavlik beat him.

I really like Pavlik and I'm very happy he beat Taylor, but I don't think I'd make him a clear favorite to beat any of these guys. I'd pick him over Wright on size and activity alone. I think he'd be beaten up by Hopkins in a good fight. Kessler and Calzaghe are probably a bit too much for him. I could see Kelly out boxing Andrade in a war. Haven't seen enough of Froch to make that call. Lacy may be damaged goods so I can see Kelly beating Jeff too.

He will always have a chance in any fight he's in, but I don't think he has crippling power like people make it seem now and he definitely isn't made of steel.

Pesticid, your opinion is worth about 2 pennies and a piece of lint.

Hopkins took the fight to Winky Wright and won on aggression and generalship.

              This is 2007 FYI..

Let's not be premature with Pavlick. We simply don't know yet just how good he could be. Let him get a few fights into his title reign and we'll have a much better idea.

Taylor ****ed up by dropping Pat Burns. He landed 20 flush shots and couldn;t get Pavlik out of there. Maybe Pavlik should be getting the credit instead of Taylor getting the blame.
