i know but floyd and mosely[even threw recent reports]are great.i think if he unifies [which is gonna be tough]and breaks a record of defenses in the best division in boxing[and probably the most decorated division in boxing history] he has a shot.i'm not saying he's going to i'm just saying what i think he will need to do to achieve greatness.

I'd rather have Cotto face Margarito or Cintron or Berto than Floyd. I think Cotto has a better than decent chance to defeat Margarito, Cintron and Berto and those are gonna be amazing fights. Cotto against Floyd. It's hard for me to bet against Floyd at 147, but this is not why I don;t want him to fight Floyd. Floyd's gonna make a really stinking fight.

i'm a puerto rock, but i'm not blind he's got his flaws.i believe he has the style to beat floyd. check the castillo fight.pressure and volume punching.floyd is the best boxer in the world period, but if anyone today can beat joy gans it's cotto.

It's a possibility, but.....

Cotto's style is very wearing on a fighter. He also seems very glass jawed. I think he may eventually rival Tito, but he has alot left prove just to do that. I see Cotto getting Knocked out soon. He is stepping into the serious competition phase of his career. Mosley, if he wins their, u have Williams,Margarito,then there is the middleweight division.

Cotto has much to overcome. I will say this---He has the warriors spirit. ****er comes to fight everytime.

for his sake he needs to remain at welter.i don't think he's glass jaw maybe jelly, he took some ****ing bombs from torres man, and he got up to win. i think if he betters his defense[learn how to slip punches ala duran] he'd be better.

I saw the Torres fight. Cotto was VERY CLOSE TO BEING OUT, but he showed that "Warrior spirit" and rose up to seal the deal. I like Cotto alot. I believe he will become alot more than he is today.

On the down side, Cotto is very hittable as you say, and this fight with Mosley should answer what you are asking. Should Cotto beat Mosley convincingly-The sky is the limit for him.

I would not be disappointed to see a guy like Cotto be "THE MAN" in boxing. I think he would reign with dignity and poise. Boxing needs that!
