But apart from that, LaMotta was a huge middleweight with an atg chin, exactly the kind of guy that Pavlik would be helpless against.
    pavlik is bigger than lamotta.

lamotta may have been big but he was a middleweight when you actually had to be a middleweight the day of the fight.

      yes undoubtedly IMO.

LaMotta wasnt even this great fighter. He used his TREMENDOUS will and Heart to walk through HELL to win fights.

A lot of his fights were decided when he was far behind on cards and he would win by KNOCKOUT. because he would literally destroy his opponents will and they would absolutely collapse.

Normally i would say Pavlik would collapse as well, but pavlik is much bigger then LaMotta, its almost an unfair fight.

EDIT: btw, im PRETTY sure LaMotta came in almost 10-15 pounds heavier the Robinson DURING the weigh in for the fight he won, as he did for nearly all his fights with Robinson

Well Lamotta was in with a lot of guys bigger then himself, like lightheavies.

But Pavlik is a really strong guy, its an unfair fight.

Lamotta wasnt a great fighter like i just said. He used his strength and will to win fights that his talent definetly wouldn't win him.

            Pavlik UD

Lamotta blocked unches with his face, and he outweighed Sugar by 20 pounds when he beat him. Thats like Mayweather fighting Taylor and weighing in under the Welterweight limit.

This thread rightly belongs in the Fantasy Fights forum NOT in NSB. That being said I'm inclined to pick LaMotta. It's an axiom in boxing that a great chin beats a great punch and in my 35 years of observation that axiom bears out. LaMotta's chin was not human, pure and simple. I could easily see Pavlik punching himself out trying to dent it a la Cobb - Shavers. In a choice between the punch and the chin I'll take the chin everytime.

see this is just proof that u have absolutely no clue what u r talking about when it comes to Pavlik.

                This statement is completely untrue

                  Here's one for you:

Wlad Klit. vs. Ricardo "finito" Lopez

I pick Lopez by BRUTAL KO.
