      he only lost one amateur fight ever. it's fact. he said that he lsot once and doesn't want to ever feel that feeling again. maybe that's what made him train and fight the way he does.

        Calzaghe lost his first ever amatur fight!
        He also lost some after that, can't remember which ones or how many, but he states this in his Autobiography.

          I think that Joe Calzaghe will rise to the occasion in what should be his biggest test. Many thought that Mario Veit would be a big test for Calzaghe when he fought him first time around and i hope that Joe adopts a similar approach as he did in the first Veit fight when he faces Kessler. Kessler will want to exchange with Calzaghe, and as long as he doesn't suffer any hand injuries, i think that Calzaghe will more than match Kessler.
