Well actually yes, Brazil does have some similarities to Portugal, because they were originally colonized by Portugal.
That's just my thoughts. But whatever, ignore my posts, I want to see more arguing between you two.Comment

Some people just can't handle the truth...Don't worry about Hecky, he likes to stay in the closet with his skeletal insecurities and sexuality... Dude likes to use boxing and hide behind Mexican fighters as a front for his lack of Masculinity...It aint too hard to recognize a ***** and Hector definitely takes it from both ends....Last edited by Alibata; 10-01-2007, 11:25 PM.Comment

Hey bro why you gotta come out with bull**** like this? They are not trying to be mexicans.Hey one hit ko sorry bro but not all mexicans are like this.To me it's an honor to have so much in common with the phillipines.I've always admired your culture, people and boxers.I always knew that we must have some kind of relation between these two great countries. And the post that you have posted one hit ko confirms it.We have so much in common.Like our language a lot of words are the same like cuchara, platos, tenedor, or the numbers and the days of the week.We are both very proud people and family oriented. We show the lot's of heart up in the ring, and so do the pinoy's.Most of the phillipino population are catholics and so is the mexican population. There is just a lot that we have in common. And I'm proud of it.I always knew Filipinos were obsessed with Mexicans...
Always trying to prove that "we have similarities" truth his Mexicans dont eat dogs like they do in your culture.
They are no similarities, be proud of your own race by stop trying to act like your culture similar to Mexico's.Last edited by -Mbandit-; 10-02-2007, 12:09 AM.Comment

Hey this is really interesting good stuff! thanks.Did you guys know.....
-that Mexico (previously called New Spain) is actually the one administering The Philippines during the Spanish era?
-that we directly traded with Mexico (Manila and Acapulco direcly linked) for 300 years during these times?
-that hundreds of thousands of Filipinos (soldiers, ******, women and adventurers) travelled to Mexico and vice versa?
-that Filipinos influenced their culture and helped them get their independence with Filipino fighting in Mexico against Spain?
-that we shared ****fighting, fruits, and even language.
-that we use some "nahuatlismos" words that originate from the Aztec tribes ...brought to our country by the Mexicans? Ex: achuete, atole, avocado, balsa, ****ueta, cacahuete, cacao, caimito, calabaza, camachile, camote, calachuche, chico,. chocolate, coyote, nana(y), tata(y), tiangui, tocayo, zacate, and zapote
-that they knew about mangoes, tamarinds, ****es from us....and we knew about avocados, tomatoes, etc. from them?
-that Mexico enriched our culture and influenced the likes of Jose Rizal in starting a revolution?
-that a Mexican president had Filipino commanders and soldiers help him revolt against Spain?
-that there are areas in Mexico that has a population of Mexicans with Filipino origin?
-that states in Mexico such as Colima and Guerrero have populations with Filipino descent?
-that there is a population of 200,000 Mexicans who are descendants of or posses Filipino ancestry?
-that their national dress "La China Poblana" was inspired by a Filipina?
-that Mexican prisoners were sent to the philippine islands as exile?
-Descendants of Magat Salamat, Lakandula were exiled to Mexico after first revolt against Spain?
-Philippines got our currency from Mexico - Peso (Mexico) not Pesetas (Spain)?
-that we are more closely related to Mexico than Spain?
Yes, we were under Spain....but did you really know that the previously called New Spain we were under during the Spanish time is actually now called Mexico?
Now we wonder why we have so much in common with the Mexicans. They are our long lost brothers. That's why when we are in the boxing ring, we Filipinos feel the Warrior Spirit run within our veins...and we realize a Warrior Spirit as strong as ours is in theirs.
Interesting isn't it? In the last 5 centuries, Mexico and Philippines were side by side. We did not just have similar history with them. We were DIRECTLY related to them.
Why don't I hear this in our history? Did you guys know this? Or is it just me?

I didnt know everything here just a few things here and there. I hear the Mango Manila is different in Mexico and in the Philippines.
Also just a quick thing....
while I do agree that we probably have some of the same ****es I disagree that we got ****es in general from the Phillippines because the indigenous people of the American continent were already rich in ****es.Last edited by .::|ULTIMATE|::.; 10-02-2007, 12:11 AM.Comment
