How will Hatton do it?

The Ndou fight was at 135...and Castillo was shot when Hatton fought him. Cotto is a better body puncher than Hatton. Only one guy had success against Mayweather going to the body. Castillo, and Mayweather had a torn rotator cuff and it was still a close fight. Everybody planned to get close to Floyd, and they failed. Judah and Oscar are better and stronger than Hatton. Hatton won't be punishing anyone.

Well we're discussing possible tactics here. You just say screw the debate because Floyd's going to win. We're familiar with the arguments running down the competition and all the excuses. How does N'dou being at 135 ****can Easton's opinion? For that matter, how does Castillo losing a step ****can the contention that Hatton hits hard to the body?

Round 1: Floyd comes out and stands in the middle of the ring. Fairly flat-footed. He is trying to gauge Hatton's strength and speed, and is tuning up his defense. Ricky is catious and throws less than usual. He has a good measure of respect for PBF's speed and counter-punching. He won't get reckless. Ricky was busier. Round 1 Hatton.

Rd 2: Ricky picks up the pace, and so does Floyd. Mayweather still isn't in form, and they fight a fairly busy but close round. Hatton eats some uppercuts and counter-rights. But RH is determined because he knows that he has to establish his fight. They may end up near/on the ropes. It is becoming clear now to Rick that he is not the stronger man in the ring. Close round. Either way. Probably Hatton on activity.

Rds 3/4: Mayweather is busier than in the first coupla rounds. He is landing consistently hard shots now, and blocking Hatton's increasingly wide shots. On some occasions, RH comes inside, clinches and tries to maul. PBF is retaliating by pushing off with the elbow/forearm, and the ref warns him. The first signs of wear appear on Rick's face. Rds 3/4 are Mayweather.

Rds 5/6/7: It is starting to get a bit ugly, and the outcome of the fight is clear now. Hatton, unable to muscle Floyd, and with a considerable skill/speed disadvantage, is getting hit too much. Ricky, being a gamer, rallies. But his face is starting to open badly, and he hasn't solved the puzzle of how to get to Floyd consistently. Perhaps RH takes one of these rounds, but this middle part of the fight is where FMJ really pulls away.

Rds 8/9: Very ugly. Very. At times, it looks "sixth-round-of-the-Gatti-fight-esque". Ricky, uncharacteristically, is fatiguing and his face is a mess. The ref and/or ring doctor has already taken a good look. Floyd puts his foot on the gas. He stays on the perimeter but is launching hard, straight stuff.

Hatton's corner, in a smart decision to preserve their fighter's health and psyche, elects not to send him out for round 10.

Mayweather TKO 9 Hatton.

Bet the farm.

I agree with round 1.



Round2" Hatton comes out and closes the distance,Floyd immediatly goes into the shell ,Hatton skips left and right torqueing hooks to the body, tMayweather tries to tie up Hatton and Hatton begins bruising his ribs with short,vicous hooks to the body followed by a short uppercut that snaps Floys head back. Floyd gets on his bike and doesn't stop till the bell rings.


3/4: Hatton is picking up the pace and Mayweather doesn't hang around for much action content to peck away at Hatton waiting for the little bastard to slow down a bit. Mayweather takes these rounds because HBO has a vested stake in his Career and the judges are pro American. Meanwhile Hatton fans are going WTF? Lederman is a ***in prik anyway.


5/6. Larry Merchant is getting pissed. Statement like "you can't win a FIGHT GOING BACKWARDS" START TO EMINATE FROM THE LUSH. Then Lampley, the ever consistant **** rider proclaims that this is a boxing match and not a street fight, to which Larry retorts" yeah, but we didn't pay to see a leprechaun chase down the kids for his lucky charms-we paid to see a fight. Manny will be quite during all this and in the ring Hatton will be slowely wearing Mayweather down. Five to Mayweather-6 to Hatton.


7/8 Floyd's face is really starting to show the signs of Hattons rough house tactics. Mayweather is finding himself on the ropess more and more, but his reflexes are still saving him from the punishment upstair. Hatton is still working the body consistantly, but now the right and the uppercut are starting to find a home. Both men have their moment and Lampley is making this fight sound like the fight to end all fights-Meanwhile Merchant is somewhere deep in thought only chiming in occasionally- Manny starts a rant about the Taylor debacle and finds a way to tie it into this fight.

9/10 Mayweather looks the worst he ever has now. Hatton is cut but still closing and still landing alot of leather. Floyd is content to be less mobile now and tries to use lateral movement to avoid Hattons onslaught. Out of nowhere Hatton lands a left to the body followed up by a vicous upperct with the same hand and Mayweather reels back stepping in postholes. (every Mayweather fan on the planet collectively gasps) as Hatton bulls his way in and Mayweather crumples to the floor. Mayweather doen not get, he is content to stay down and is counted out.


When the cards are read, Mayweather will be ahead by a wide margin. And everyone will call bull**** except his fans who will immidiatly claim Hatton Cheated and was dirty and the ref ****** and that Hatton sucks and most of all Easton sucks because he is a ***in ****sucker And i hate him..



Meanwhile, back at the BatCave- Ill be sippin a crown and seven LMFAO!

Yeah. Dios' posts can be entertaining in the lengths he will go to win an argument. I mean he can just plain devolve into shrieking hysterics, and then regain his composure and lay a good argument on you. It's funny. Definitely one of the more interesting of the Mayweatherites because at least he will make an argument.
