I am a Pavlik fan, and on rewatching the fight I had Taylor up on the cards 58-55 with Pavlik winning 1 and 3. 6 was almost too close to call but I gave it to Taylor.

He fought a good fight but eventually Pavlik's straight hard punches got to him.

I think it's some bull**** that some people think Pavlik was greatly out skilled or that Taylor gave away the fight. Pavlik showed great determination and discipline in the fight. Most fighters know the fundamentals and know they should stick to them, but when they get in there, especially with a world class opponent fail to do so. Kelly used the one two with perfection and did a good job doubling up on his jab. That is skill, pure and simple. It might not be slickness, but it is skill. And Taylor did all he could to put Pavlik away in round 2. He hit him flush a ton of times and most fighters would have been out. Taylor looked better in that round than he has in several fights, but Pavlik is tough and survived. Give credit where credit is due.

Da more i think about it da more i think he is a lil punk, i dont care how hard he fought or that he had Pavlik hurt he gave that fight away and like many said his decline was inevitable,,, first he barley beats Hopkins once let alone twice then he luckily gets a draw with Winky, he cant even knock out the much smaller Ouma and Spinks had he been on the juice woulda styled on him.... Kelly Pavlik is my new favorite boxer and ima eventually KO his ass oneday..... But with that said dis is Greatest my account wasnt hyjacked im just tellin you how i feel as of now... As much as id love to see Taylor redeem himself in the rematch when you think about it Kelly is a true warrior adn would be a great in any era i don tknow if that could be said for the now mediocure Taylor!

jermain is cool. i like the dude attitude. hes a survivor. it just came out that kelly was too heavy and a bit bigger than him. hes down now but not out. hopefully hell be back soon and im excited bout it. if hes down now then im with him T_T
