Edison Miranda vs. Jermain Taylor: Who wins and why?

Yeah but Jermaine may use his jab early and then totally disregard it. It a known fact after the first 2 rounds against Pavlik you didn't see his jab as normally as it should have been thrown. This why this fight is a picke em in my opinion. Both can get wild and we know Miranda can take a punch. but power shots really bother Jermaine.

Taylor's jab got less effective because Kelly has a pretty good one himself...also Miranda's right hand is not as quick and sharp as Kelly's...Miranda throws wild right hands and has a slow jab...gets hit himself...

Yeah but I still believe Jermaine had the abilty to get his jab off first with tha handspeed difference. But Pavlik's jab set everything up he did. I think if he squares off with Miranda he has to set up punches with the jab. Because swinging wildly with a power puncher is playing with fire.

MIranda has the power to knock Taylor out and the chin to withstand his punches, but assuming Taylor can stay out of trouble he'd win a very wide decision.

Oh no I knew he went down. But there was the one shot that made Green's legs buckle. I I know he went down after a punch or two. But the intial shot sent shockwaves throught he rest of his body.

Befgore the Paqvlik fight I would have favored Miranda. Now that Taylor sees he is not invincible we should see a better Taylor and he'll fight Miranda on his terms instead of going toe to toe. I favor Taylor by knockout within 8 rounds
