Thats why hes such a great finisher. Jermain just started wildly swinging for the fences when he had Pavlik in trouble. Pavlik stays calm, and picks his spots, keeps his punches strait and finds the openings.

He is the type of guy who just has raw power and heavy hands. The type of exercises he does makes him even stronger too. Tire lifts and sledgehammer swings are excellent for building power.

That right hand turned Taylor's jaw into jello though.. What the hell was he doing, letting Kelly charge him like that right after he just got hit and not putting his hands up? His defense is awful..

Jermaine TAylor didn't want to win that fight. He's a bit of a cornball, he obviously can't hand;e the pressure of being Champion. He boxed very good in this fight, was doubling and tripling on his jab bobbing slipping punches. He was ahead on the screcards, this guy just didn't wanna win. If u ask me his knock out was more fierce than Paviliks, Pavilik wanted to win, when he got kncked down he struggled to stay up when Taylor got K.O'd(really T.K.O) he wasn't even on his ****ing back, busta just let his knees fall from under him like he was about to pray. Then bout 2 seconds after the fight he gets up walks around and leaves....PLease, he wwsn't even hurt, he just don't really like boxing that much. I read the interviews before this fight, they gota force the man to watch boxing and he freely admis he doesn't watch it. Real talk if there is a rematch , I doubt Jermaine even shows up in shape. To me his decision over Hopkins was gift one and thats what started all this, they got some athlete and put money behind him and started giving him gift decisions and now they paid for it and EManuel Steward is embarrassed......Did u guys notice how manny said he lost the first round when it was so close? EVEN BOXINGSCENE gave the first round to TAylor... why would u tell ur fighter he lost the first, then what happens strong ass farm boy knocks him out of his life in the 2nd and lets him off the hook.....Taylor was paper champ, Pavilik has allot of determination but he won't survive as champion for more than two solid Defenses, he don' t want it with Kessler, Calzaghe or Hopkins, he's better off fighting Miranda again or fight Jermaine again but I don't see the point, Taylor dont wanna box for a living.

had he not took those bombs early on in the corner and just kept it a competitive boxing match in the middle of the ring the whole time he would have had enough to survive that 7th round, the build up of punishment wouldn't have been so great. it was evident he was hurt after that 1-2 but what did he do afterwards?? go right back to the ropes which is what he was supposed to be avoiding the whole night, that directly led to his downfall, no doubt he was hurt but he could have survived it with good ring generalship and clever technique.. 100
had that happened, then the Kelly people would say "if he pushed him up against the ropes more....". It came down to who was able to execute their game plan better, and saturday night it was Pavlik. So give the guy the credit for being able to push taylor against the ropes, its not like Taylor wasn't trying to not go there.
