Make that 10 years, Mayweather has been a champion since before Pavlik was losing to Jermain in the Olympic trials.

Hopkins couldn't even knock down Taylor in a thousand rounds, Pavlik did it in just a couple. Pavlik also took all of Miranda's power shots with ease. Pavlik also KOd 30 of his 32 opponents.

What makes you think he gets KOd in his next two fights?

I think he's only been the true champion once though, that being at 147 defeating one of the all time greats Carlos Baldomir in an epic.

Pavlik is not a good fighter at all. He has a super chin and super power and that is it. He's won one big fight where he should've been KO'd but Taylor forgot to finish him off.

What is so ******ed about some posters here is that they lavish praise on that awful sissy performance Floyd did on Baldomir but here they are detracting on a guy who came down from a knockdown and KTFOd a guy whom Hopkins couldnt KO in a million years.

              Frigging double standard.

Gatti has had titles. Still doesn't make him an elite fighter.

                    LOL!

he "forgot" to finish him off. He COUDLNT finish him off. Pavlik left his hands at his waist like an idiot, something he will never do again

Give Pavlik his damn credit. He IS a very good fighter. He outjabbed Taylor a lot, beat a very good fighter.

His defense is STILL extremely underrated, even though after round 2 TAYLOR hardly landed a flush shot other then a jab!!!!

Pavlik clearly showed he is an all around fighter, he can box and he can brawl with the best of them.

The only reason ur hating on him is because ur a Taylor fan, and ur being a ***** about ur boy getting KTFO

I wasn't talking about Manny Pacquiao, was referring to Floyd Mayweather.
