What about a fight with Gomez? They're around the same level, if anything Berto is probably more dangerous.

Berto knows he has to take it nice and slow. That was his first 12 rounder and he did well. When he does face a champion, he will be more than ready to win.

I think Berto's hand speed and decent power would eventually wear down Gomez, but that's a fight I really didn't think of. Gomez has looked good in his last two fights and even though I know Gatti was pretty much done anyways Gomez did it in impressive fashion. Gatti was really never in that fight. It would be an exciting fight Berto/Gomez with both men liking to throw punches and stand in there.

Berto's a bum and has too many flaws that will get exposed once he finally decides to step it up. Don't know what the hell he and his team are waiting for.

Me thinks you don't know what you're talking about. Chavez Jr. moved up because he was having trouble making weight.

I want to see berto again. he is steping up in class and he is almost ready to compete with the elite. He is not fightning bums at all like chavez jr. estrada came in there trying to win and he tested berto heart. all i can say is berto needs to work on his defense a bit. but thats it. Berto is a champion in waiting.
