    Andre "The Hatian Sensation" Berto:

We all know how the main event turned out nontheless. But the under card...Whoa.. Andre Berto was nothing short of spectacular, putting on a display of RAW talent. He demonstrated why he is a rising Force in the talent stacked welterweight division. He showed a mixed variety of punches: a vicious body assault, blistering hand speed, and wicked uppercts. Last nights performance shoud convince the lay boxing fans that Andre Berto will impact the division in a Huge way. Fellow boxing fans....Andre Berto is The Truth.
Remember....Estrada recently lost a 10 round Unanimous decision to Mosley.

Last night was the first time I've seen Berto and I gotta say, I was very impressed. Not only did he outbox Estrada, he was able to withstand alot of power punches from David. Also, Berto's ****in fast, throws excellent combo's and has pretty good power. Overall, very impressed with this guy and hope to see him again soon....

Berto has a long way to go, but at this point he is progressing well. Were i training him it would be all about defense at this point. he has great offense, but gets hit way too much.

I don't know, but they were saying last night he was the only member of the Hatian boxing team when he went to the Olympics. So it sounds like there hasn't been too many Haitian champs if any.

I think he's on his way to great things, but we'll really see how good he is once he goes for a title or faces a top notch opponent. His offensive variety was great last night and he also moved a lot more than he did in his last fight against Rivera. He was flat footed most of the fight against Rivera, but against Estrada he moved good. There are still times though that he would throw a combo and then stay in there. I know Lennox was mentioning that and a top notch fighter could take advantage of that. But overall that was a great performance by Berto.

He hits REALLY HARD. I was sitting up in the 200's and you could see, hear, and feel the impact of his punches.

My only worry about him is that he leaves himself open for some easy shots.

the worst thing Berto's management could do would be to up the level of his competition any higher than Estrada for now. He is very good but he needs to put it all together, keep his guard up more and get in and out better. Estrada had a lot of success early against him but either didnt come in to go a hard 10 or just wilted under the pressure. still a good showing

I agree they should not step up in competition drastically, but keep stepping it up little by little. I think a Quintana fight would be the best choice next.
