Was Jermain Taylor in good shape?

Great win for Kelly Pavlik. Well-earned, and well-deserved.

I was surprised, however, that when The HillBilly had Pavlik hurt, he was not able to finish him.

It was only round 2, and Jermain gassed out and punched himself out. He SHOULD have been in the kind of shape to go hard for the full round and end it there. By the end of that round, Jermain was the one clinching.

I have always been very critical of Manny Steward. I feel that he is the most overrated trainer since sweat was invented. In my hypercritical mind, this fight was more ammo for my "Kill Manny" campaign.

I didn't read youe thread because the ass in your avi is to distracting.

EDIT:Now I read it. Jermaine has done this on more than one occassion. I don't think he is ever in that good of shape because of the weight draining. He was beating on Ouma and got tired trying to get him out of there and now with Pavlik. Maybe makingweight wasn't as easy this time as he said.

I dont like Manny either but I do think that Taylor was in top shape. The probally is that he came out to hyper and it completely sapped his enery. He was too worked up and shot his load, like Harris against Massua. He wasnt that exhausted but it was still pretty bad. However, its no excuse though because Pavlik always runs out of gas pretty early too but keeps firing. He even admits it

I dont buy that for a second. Jermain was still fighting at a fast pace when he got stopped.

                  Great asses everyone.

Taylor looked nervous in the begining no?
I think he'll win the re-match. He'll finish the job next time.
I really don't like his style anyways. Pavlik did a good job and showed a lot of heart

THANKS FOR THE AVI LOVE... I DO IT FOR YOU GUYS.

On to the fight... Jermain has fought Hopkins twice and also Winky. JT has had big PPV fights. If anything, HE should have been the one who was poised and in control of his emotions. He was the champion and has been in the limelight for a long-ass time.

He should not have been hyper.

                    I'm sure you guys agree.
