But anyway, cong**** to the new champ. Sick display of heart and composure...I'm sure he just made a lot of people fans. Also, ironic was at the intro walk-ins Lampley said something along the lines of boxing in NJ still living on in Pavlik post Gatti. Great analogy because it was a Gatti like courageous performance.
you can tell he was a bit gittery like he was gonna crumble under the pressure, but he composed himself and ktfo of taylor.i could see this **** becoming like a trilogy.

It would have been a premature stoppage if he had done that. Pavlik is known as a tough fighter. Thats why they let Estrada go in the first fight cuz he is known to come back strong

yep and because Smoger is one of the best ref's out there. A lot of ref's would of stopped the fight in the round 2.

He was behind on points on all 3 scorecards, he has that one punch will change the fight sort of power, that will ALWAYS help him if he is ever behind. Pavlik being great for boxing? I think so.

When I first watched it, I thought the fight should have been stopped but after looking at it again, after those first few punches that caused the knockdown a lot of Pavlik falling around the ring was just momentum and Taylor missing a few big shots.

I give Pavlik credit, I thought he was gonna turn into another Miranda but he seems to be the real deal.
