Boxing Bias - Two American fighters

I just watched Taylor vs Pavlik and some people on here are calling it the fight of the year. To be honest both fighters were far from impressive. Calzaghe and Kessler would have schooled both these fighters. The super middleweight division is so much stronger than the middleweight division.

But because their fighting in the USA and their American, then their the best in the world right? Im telling you now if Kessler or Calzaghe dropped down to middleweight they would have eaten both those fighters. I could think of a lot of other super middleweights that could beat them aswell.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Just because their not fighting in America, the fighters in the super middleweight division **** on both Pavlik and Taylor.

P.S i support all of America's policies and politics. But not how their boxing fans over rate their boxers. Both those fighters would be exposed by the top 5 super middle weights, if they dropped down to middle weight.

The difference is hype is due to the simple fact that Pavlik and Taylor (moreso taylor really) have fought everyone.

Joe and Kessler have not, but at least they are making a damn good start by fighting each other.

Taylor's resume in his short career is already much better than either Joe's or Mikkel's though.

Whoever wins between Joe and Kessler is a big name guy.

These kind of topics piss me off.....

But I have to agree Calzaghe and Kessler would school Taylor and Pavlik.

Calzaghe could have beaten both those guys tonight at the same time. I enjoyed the fight, but all we learned is that Pavlik is too slow to be an elite fighter, and Taylor folds if he gets hit.

Calzaghe-Kessler HAS to be a higher quality fight.

Pavlik is champ. But honestly, is your opinion of him higher than it was yesterday?

Pavlik is good, but he is not on the level of guys like Calzaghe. Id pick him over Kessler, but not Calzaghe.

Pavlik is eventually going to cross paths with the super middleweight champion be it Calzaghe or Kessler. It will be a great fight, nobody is going to have an easy night with Pavlik.

Im a big fan of Calzaghe & Kessler but the reason people dont talk about those guys the same way is because they dont fight anyone. The only one guy they have on there resume between them are Lacy and he hadnt beaten anyone either.

I agree that both of those guys would kill both of these guys but how fair is that really? I mean, they are SMW's. Its not like there the same division. Thats like people saying a prime Tarver & RJ at 175 would kill Calzaghe & Kessler. Its a different weight class
