Go to the body Jermain, u had the victory right there and Kelly capitalized on ur mistakes. But let's be honest, how does the challenger get a standing 8 count and the champion does not? I have to say the Steve Smoger is in Bob Arum's pocket. He let Pavlik beat the **** out of Miranda and everyone knows he let's the fight go as long as he can. Pavlik hit Miranda with way more punches and battered his brain and Miranda was allowed 2 times. I though it should have been stopped in the 6th, but Steve let fly for another minute or so. But the CHAMPION doesn't get even a standing 8 count?!!!!!?!!! That's **** and everyone out there knows. There's another thing that everyone knows without a doubt: Taylor will kill "The Ghost" in the rematch. Enjoy while it lasts Kelly because it will be over just as quick as it began.
Rewatch the fight and you can see him go limp. I was pulling for Taylor but he proved just as susceptable to Pavlik as Miranda and the rest. I guess Taylor is the overrated one. The judges must have been on crack. ESPN.com had Taylor winning every round. They posted the scorecard at 2 AM and then pulled by morning probably in embarrassment. You white folks have it tough in boxing.

No way should there be a rematch! Taylor got his ass handed to him on a plate! The on;y rematch would be if if it was a close decision. Taylor should consider himself lucky to be alive because I thouht the second uppercut actually killed him, I'm not joking either! Taylor had to be slapped in the face to wake up as Pavlik got took Taylor's best shots in 2nd and got straight back up!

I made 2Ks with this fight. I am from Puerto Rico and as soon as Pavlik destroyed Pantera monthsd ago, Pavlik earned my respect and some money last night. I knew he was going to win. 2nd round scared me to death, but after Taylor did not go after Pavlik in the beginning of the 3rd round... I knew Taylor was going to regret it. Instead it was Pavlik who came out with an agressive offense and turn the fight around. Like I told everyone yesterday, my money is with the New White Hope!!!

BTW, Pavlik went down as he tried to mock Taylor and taunt him like he did previously by sticking his tongue out. At first, I thought he was about to complaint as he let his guard down. With the replay, I concluded he was acting out and about to mock Taylor with a smile... then again, he did not see the glove coming. Ouch!!!

He was just about to mock Taylor when he got hit with the first bomb. Then he smiled, realizing the mistake he made, but Taylor continued to catch him. Huge props to Pavilik for surviving, and he was fortunate that Taylor's adrenaline got the best of his throws. Taylor looked as strong and sharp as I've seen him.

The problem with an immediate rematch is, Pavlik has stated on numerous occassions that if/should he win the belt, he wants to defend it and stay at middleweight. Taylor insists he's moving up to super-middle. Catch-weights are kind of rediculous, and I think it's about time we get another fighter who models himself after Hagler, Hopkins, etc., and dominates his division for a lengthy period of time. It shores more determination to continuously make the same weight. Every fighter is caught up in the money to be had by weight-hopping, and it's rediculous trying to determine who the champions are.
