It's 10 seonds how ever the ref likes it.

It's not bull****. The tyson/buster fight, the ref counted slow or was it fast and thats what the final verdict was. That the ref can count as fast or as slow as they want to. Also, I notice refs in other fights who count fast and some count slower. The ref is the judge in the fight and they can count at whatever pace they want. Except of course not like super slow.

because of that ref douglas was allowed to get up and ko tyson, he shouldnt have counted so slow

Yeah, but they reviewed it over and over again and the outcome was the ref is basically the judge in the fight and can count at whatever pace they want. And thats how refs are still to this day, some count at different speeds. It's not bs

I somewhat agree with the things you said but not all of it and I still think its BS. They do tend to count fast when a guy is really out of it or they just stop the fight in mid count. Other then that though, there count is there count. They dont speed it up or slow it down depending on situations. This is the one thing I have always hated about boxin. I think there should be a universal count or close to it. I never really get upset about slow counts but I hate seeing a ref count fast. To me it really sucks and shouldnt be allowed. The other thing I hate is the guy who sits at ringside and starts the count when the ref is doing other things. That guy counts super fast. I also hated that they started that. It didnt use to be that way. The ref didnt use to start the count until he was ready. Now the other guy counts and he is far too fast. Alot of times the ref will pick the count up at 5. Im like, how did he get to 5 already? A freakin crook

The things I see really wrong with him is,he keeps his guard too open.He opens up when in punching range of his opponent, and his body is always open, plus he punches wide.Fast, but wide.

He is going to lose one of these days, but he might learn from it. Hell, he might lose tommorrow if David has a good game plan.
