    Andre Berto

I was gone when this fight happened and i didn't hear anything about it... till now and Berto was down in the fight?! wow the guy doesn't fight good opponents and still went down.

no i'm not saying "he sucks, he's done" but i'm amazed he went down (even if it was a "flash")

Every fighter not named Chuvalo has been down at least once in their career.

I rather be knocked down once or twice than have 18 losses.

Refs do that to make sure the fighter is aware of his sourroundings. The ref can count as fast or as slow as he want to. If he feels the boxers really hurt, he might count faster just because he doesn't want to see them take punishment. And some refs may count slower to make sure if a fighters alright so they take the time to check out the fighter. The 10 count does not mean 10 seconds literally. It's 10 seonds how ever the ref likes it.
