Hopkins or the winner of the Taylor-Pavlik bout are the big bouts for the winner.

Don't see Calzaghe bothering with anyone else - would probably fight a mandatory if he has to while waiting for the big one, but that would probably be it.

Kessler the much younger, & we would see more bouts out of him - Bute & Froch for the main challengers, then probably the light-heavy's if he gets past Taylor-Pavlik winner.

Don't see Kessler-Hopkins happening even if Kessler wins impressively.

I dont see why Joe would fight Hopkins!!! I dont even think hes on the rador to be honest, I think if Joe wins he should get Taylor or Even Pavlik, styles make fights fight?? And I dont like Hopkins style at all..He is a good boxer but not my cuppa tea so to say

Pavlik is staying at middleweight no matter what, except for the rematch at 166 if he wins.

Calzaghe can't keep fighting at 168; he can't fight Taylor unless it's at an even higher weight which Taylor wouldn't agree to.

I have been saying that for a while now. After the fight with Soliman, they asked Mundine about Kessler, he said this. "Hes the best out there, i want to fight him, i have improved since then and i really think i can beat him. We offered him a 70-30 split, and he didn't take it. Hes ducking me" . We all know 70-30 is big, and since half of Australia watch Mundines PPV's thats pretty massive. Also i was in discussions with a promotional member from team Mundine, and he said he even offered to fight in Denmark. Kessler didn't even reply. And the offer was big, he wouldn't specify on the exact amount".

I wrote about this in my blog however. But this is smart by kessler. I think he should duck Mundine. After watching their first fight and since then how Mundine has improved to a complete fighter, i think its smart management by the kessler team.

Also good news is Mundine will dangle the carrot to fight the winner of Kessler-Calzaghe. He won't get Calzaghe. He will get Kess. Its mandatory.

kessler will continue fighting the best

joe will pretend to want to fight a hopkins, but will end up fighting some guy barely in the top 10 in wales.

Well their mandatory and read my above reply. I think he has avoided Mundine. Which is smart, considering how much Mundine has improved since their last fight. But Kessler is the best i will admitt that, but on his night if everything comes off im sure Mundine could get a UD.

I kind of agree with this. Calzaghe has never taken consecutive big fights. And im 100% confident he won't move up to light heavyweight, instead he will ask Hopkins to come down to super middle which in all honesty won't be a problem for him. But then Joe will start with, all the failed negotation crap and say Hopkins is scared. In all honesty i can see Joe fighting another challenger from super middleweight in his next fight.

Im going against my previous post. Brain freeze lol.

Mundine could never get a UD against Kessler, remember Kessler has only lost about 4-5 round in his hole career and if Kessler don`t have any back-problems,he will KO Mundine
