Who here has sparred with a pro?
AM boxers, have any of you ever sparred with a pro boxer? How did you do?

I sparred with a pro!!!!!!
In my gym a long as time ago. He was sort of a local hero for a while, he was the only guy in our gym to have the balls to turn pro.
So he let all of us spar with him and i got in there and got my ass spanked. he may have "retired" after 11 pro fights, but that guy was in incredible shape.
I fought him first while he was fresh so thats why i got wooped lol

Well, I sparred with my trainer, who WAS a pro. Thats the closest ive ever been. Could not see those punches comming. Elvir Miquiri trains at my gym sometimes and was sparring with people, if I was in any kind of shape, I probably would still elect NOT to spar with him

I've sparred with alot of pro's.
Done very well in spots, got hit a little too much in others.Comment

Never have. But Pedro Estrada grew up down the street from me in Queens. He was older than me, but I would see him running and he would stop and talk to us. After he lost on NBC, he became a hitman for the mob and ended up on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List.
I shot baskets with Livingstone Bramble in the Poconos.Comment

Excellent Southpaw knockout artist. Very exciting to watch fight. Its great to spar with him. Keep an eye open for him, he is world Champion material.Comment

Scott Pemberton in his prime, Ray Oliviera, Ricky Gonsalez [beat Gamache in the ams'], Stefan Henderson, and a few guys out of Petronelli's.
