Will Trinidad retire again if he loses to Roy Jones?

I like Trinidad way more than Roy but I don't give him a chance in this fight. I think he's the type of fighter that makes makes Roy look his best. But, my question to you all is this: do you think that Felix will retire again if he's defeated whether it be a stoppage or by decision? I mean, he was stopped by Bernard and retired after stopping an average/below average Hacine Cherifi. Also, he's fought two times in the last 4 years. To me, it seems foolish that he would jump into this fight with Roy without any tune up fight at this weight. I think that he at least should have fought a few fights against opponents of lesser caliber at that weight. He could have maybe fought Glen Johnson, done another fight against William Joppy or something. What do you guys think about this?

Also, I don't think that Roy should have taken this fight. I think there are too many bigger name fighters that he could get as opponents and I don't think that at this point this fight will do much for his legacy if he should defeat Felix like I think he will.

If he loses.... hah. When he loses? Yes. As you stated it's absolutely foolish that he took the fight. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up pulling out in all honesty.

Trinidad Will Win. Jones is old & scarred of people noadays. No Way Jones knockes Tito out either. I predict a decision. If Tito loses, he'll prob retire again I would suspect. It would be cooler if he dropped more pounds and started fighting some of the new lower weight div prospects.

I would rather see Trinidad as either a middleweight or a junior middleweight. But I can't see how Trinidad will win this. Jones won't want to get into an exchange with Trinidad, he's never wanted to exchange with anyone so I'm sure he'll be using plenty of movement. Trinidad isn't as technically sound, I don't think, and he can't deal well when his opponent stays moving.

I just blame his management, which is his dad and Don King I'm guessing. Tito needs to have a mind like Oscar. He has too much pride I guess. He should be fighting at 154-160 anyways.

Tito's Problem Has Been His Mechanics. His Daddy Should Of Just Called Manny Steward Up After The Oscar Fight, And He Should've Remained The Cut Man.his Head Movement Is Absolutely Idle . Some Body Throws A ****ing Jab And A Right Hand And Tito ****ing Stands There Like A ****ing Sock'em Bop 'em Robot.he Needs To Anticipate When Roy Is Gonna Get Brave And Throw Everything At His As All The Time He Needs To Fight A Busy Fight.

This is false. Roy has gotten into exchanges plenty of times and usually gets the better of it. Round 5 vs Telesco is a good example, as well as round 1 vs Ruiz, Griffin II, Hanshaw, etc. Only in fights vs Tarver and Johnson did Roy seem pretty gunshy, and for good reason.

Roy will spark Tito. If Tito wins by some miracle, Roy is done. Period. Tito's little head is going to be bouncing around all night from Roy's shots. Some of you don't understand how hard Roy hits...and Tito is not big enough to take it all night.

probably so. I'm not really giving him a chance I don't think his power will carry up that high. And Roy is too big but faster as well. This does not look good for Felix Tito Trinidad.
