A mistake people are making is judging Pavlik's fighting style based solely on the Miranda fight. Against Edison, he had to do what he had do to and that was come straight forward and push Edison back and he succeeded. Pavlik is a more versatile fighter than this and I think he's going to give Taylor many more looks than people think he's capable of. A mistake Steward and JT are going to make is expecting Pavlik to bring it the same exact way as he did against Miranda is this is going to cost them if they do. Pavlik is more than able to switch up speeds and throw punches from a variety of angles as he did against Zertuche. Pavlik has a pretty varying arsenal of punches including a sweeting left uppercut which I love. It's a very unorthodox punch I think it's going to work marvels against Taylor who tends to drop that right hand, especially after the jab...then BAM!! I"m gonna be looking for that punch......Comment

Spinks-Knocked out by a smallish Welterweight in Zab Judah and his 154lb. title fight against Karmazin was crappy, disputed and could've gone either way.
Ouma-Tough 154 LBER who was almost taken out by Marco Rubio...anyone remember that fight or his snoozer with garbage fighter Sechew Powell?
Wright-A defensive fighter who can't break an egg and showed in his last fight with Hopkins that he's getting long in the tooth as well.
Hopkins was 40 man c'monnnnn now and he won that first fight and drew the second.Comment

Miranda - overrated power puncher with no technical skills
Zertuche - bum
Lenord Pierre - who??
Bronco Mckart- great fighter in his hay day, obviously old fighter
Zuniga - bum
Taylor's last 5 Opponents
Spinks - former undisputed welterweight champ, jun mid champ and a slick south paw
Ouma - tough as nails former soldier and champion
winky - defensive masterminded southpaw, champion, hof
hopkins - past his prime but still game undispusted middleweight champ, hof, boxing genius
i rest my case
for those questioning taylor's stamina
pavlik hasn't even gone past 9 rounds
shouldn't there be questions for his stamina in the late rounds??
Edouard - Tough guy, weak skills. I actually commend Taylor for stopping him how he did
Joppy - Joppy was FADED.

Rios - ???
That list ABSOLUTELY HAILS in comparison to PAVLIKS pre-title wins. And Guess what, Taylor was able to win.
And Pavliks stamina shouldnt be anywhere NEAR in question, because he's slugging it out with Edison Miranda in the 7th round of a war, still throwing 70+ a round. In the Zuniga fight as well.
Taylor tired badly late in his fight against Hopkins... from what? being tense? that shows a lot of petential for fading in a grueling fight like this will be
And whats MOST pathetic about Taylors RECENT last 5, is there is an argument that he lost 4 OF HIS LAST 5!!!! HOW REDICULOUS IS THAT!!!! and there's a STRONG argument that he lost 3 of his last 5Comment

zuniga got knocked out by pavlik at middle, stepped up 8 pounds to super middle and knocked out victor oganov who was 26-0 w/ 26 KO's
mckart has won 3 straight fights since being knocked out by pavlik (only time in his career) and recently defeated enrique ornelas for the NABO middleweight title.
