I didn't even think of this... does the interim championship still mean that that fighter would be the real champion's mandatory if the interim champion also holds a rival sanctioning body belt? I don't know, but I thought that if a fighter was the WBA champ, then they for sure couldn't be the WBC mandatory.

Are you sure? I don't think that's the way it goes actually now that I think about it. You are dead to an organzation once you pick up a rival belt.

Not 100% sure but I think that is what would happen because when you are interim champion you are not a number one contender, you actually have a share of the belt and defend it like you are the champion.
