I always felt slick fighters didn't have much of a chance against tsyu, mainly because they back away from tszyu and all of his power from his punches came at the end of his swing when his arm was fully extended (which is rare), so if u back away your playing into his hands. Dont think he would outbox mayweather, but maybe eventually catch up to him and knock him out with one of those killer straight rights! Mayweather does have an excellent defence tho so maybe he would box his way to a decision. Would have been an interesting fight though. If floyd got caught like he did against corley it may have been lights out. Both of them are two of the most precise, accurate punchers i have ever seen.

And whoever said he was overrated, i think thats a bad opinion to say the least! Tszyu unified the lwelter division, which is an amazing achievement and had it not been for injury prob would have accomplished a lot more, you can catch when he beat vernon forrest in the olympic final in Barcelona on youtube great performance by a great fighter

Wow you made a horribly assinine statement. Outbox Mayweather? Floyd would adjust and beat him in a decision. Floyd is very good at neutralizing your best punch (ie the Oscar left hook). We would know if Floyd had a chin or not by the end of the fight though.

I havent seen his fight against Hector Lopez. What you said about Leija is flat out wrong. And phillips swarmed him. Took alot of risks by throwing the right hand over Tszyu's jab.

No question Mayweather is more talented then Phillips and Hatton (only fights where Tszyu has lost), but I feel it is a unique styles matchup where Tszyu beats Mayweather more then Mayweather beats him. You HAVE to take risks to beat Tszyu. HAVE to. Mayweather does not take enough risks in my opinion.

He showed he was really good at the pull counter over the jab against N'dou... it's amazing how much he showed against N'dou, to be honest. Great defense, great countering, great combinations.

He mentioned his name in several post-fight interviews, namely when he was fighting at 135. He always said he wanted to move up to 140 and fight Kostya Tszyu.
