I don't find one-sided fights exciting, and theres an extremely high chance thats what it'll be.

Left unsaid is which side (Hatton or Mayweather) will be dominant. At any rate, a one-sided fight can be exciting, but as a rule, they don't last very long, usually ending within 3 rounds. Louis/Schmelling II, Ali/Williams and Tyson/Berbick immediately come to mind.

Mayweather is going to have to fight one way or another. So no.

I dont think it will be boring but if it is it will be down to PBF making it boring. It takes 2 to make a fight. Hatton will at least try and give the crowd action.

Well, I left mine out purposely, just because I didn't want to turn this into one of 'those' threads, but I just don't see why people even believe Hatton can hurt or even compete with Mayweather, even if he does manage to catch up with him

Anyway, if you are a MMA fan, you just saw Forrest Griffin dominate Shogun Rua, so that does prove that in combative sports anything can happen, but would I have bet on that outcome prior to the fight? Not really. Ricky Hatton loses this one badly. If that sorta thing is exciting to people, then yea, but me personally I like to see close, competetive fights.

This pessimistic view has me wondering why you even watch this sport..

Neither one of these fighters are what you call them.
