I know the Contender has gotten a lot of **** in the past for being too sentimental...but I have to say, that seen with Jaidon really had me feeling for him. That's rough news, and I give it up to him for staying in the tournament. also, I give it up to Ray for being a decent and kind mentor. Having a legend console you like that, I'm sure it really helped Jaidon out, for real.

his pops died during the filming. I had read tht he committed suicide, which they dont mention in the show. They just say "he passed", but it makes those scenes even more emotional..for me at least. I dont know..for some reason, seing Jaidon who was all hard just a few weeks back, break down like that...I just felt for the kid.Comment

I love listening to the hyped crowd during the match while everybody is sitting on their hands and not even applauding for the large majority. It makes me giggle. Good production idea but they might want to consider blurring the background. They've been doing it since season 1 back on ABC thogh. Or was it CBS? Whatever.Comment
