If Mayweather was really a "business man" he would fight in a fan friendly style. If Mayweather is as talented as he and his supporters claim he could fight aggressively and stay in control regardless. For some reason he does not or cannot.

The truth is Floyd Mayweather is far from unbeatable.

He's an opportunist - and a good spinster as demonstrated during this interview.

I appreciate his awesome ability as well and have enjoyed watching his fights as much as an Arturo Gatti or Evander Holyfield - but Floyd is not a trench warrior and the majority of people will never appreciate that; fighters and fans alike. Don't get it twisted.
I agree. Floyd is a great businessman!

I have to disagree, do you really think he would be making much more money than he is now? He is s till making in the 8 digits. Personally I think he is OVERLY cautious, to the point where he won't take some of the risks needed to end a fight. They were against larger opponents and Oscar has some power so I can understand but I think if he really pushed it he could have really put it on Oscar in the later rounds.

easily with his hand speed he could of picked him apart in the 10th 11th 12th.. since oscar stopped his jab, but floyd had it won so he just cruised along i guess..

Absolutely 1000% I feel strongly about that.

Floyd could DOUBLE his money with a more exciting fan friendly style.

                5 figures?.......

You mean like the 20+ million guys like Holyfield and Tyson were making for fights 10 and 20 years ago?

Floyd made 5 figures off of De La Hoya.

Let's see how much he could make against Mayorga or Spinks..

Yeah, I KNOW what he said at the press conferences.

When he's asked DIRECT question - this is his answer.

I don't even think if Floyd was fighting like he did at 130 he would make much more than he does now. Floyd would still make 8 digits, he won't fight if it isn't at least that much these days.

8 digits is almost unheard of for an unpopular fighter....sooner or later he is going to run out of people who's hype he can feed off of and have to either A) make 7 digits or B) fight like a man
