Mayweather did make a point that I think people who only look for blood and guts fights need to remember, its "boxing" not "toe to toe". I like toe to toe fights just as much as the next guy but I'm much more fascinated and impressed with fighters who have mastered the art of boxing. People ***** about Mayweather "running". He'e being evasive. Respect that because it's not easy to dodge as many shots as he does, not to mention the incredible speed and counter punching that follows each miss. Outside of the ring Mayweather comes off as a **** and I would love to meet him in real life for the opportunity to see if he would prove me wrong but inside the ring he is fantastic and I'm always left impressed but what that guy pulls off. I'm convinced that the the majority of the people on here who knock Mayweather probably don't actually box themselves because if they did they would have immence respect for what he does.

We all know that Floyd talks a big game to promote. He said so himself, therefore don't believe the hype that he's going to slug it out with a slugger. Instead he is going in there to do what Roy Jones did to John Ruiz and that is skillfully outbox the man. If Floyd stays in the middle of the ring Hatton is going to have a long night. If Floyd stays on the ropes then Hatton has a better chance of getting in some work. Either way I believe Floyd's footwork is going to be the difference. Dancing is a sport that builds stamina and endurance...that's why dancing is not taking away from Floyd but building muscles that he hasn't used before. It's like taking a boxer and putting him in the pool to swim laps. You're going to build muscle and improve your stamina and endurance...same difference. Floyd knows he's going in the ring to run and pot shot from the outside and work his combinations. He will be on his toes throughout the night. He's not as assinine as everyone makes him out to be. That is why this is going to be going the full 12 and in the end Floyd takes it by a decision.Comment

My concern about the "dancing show" is not so much the "dancing" , as it is the "show".Dancing is a sport that builds stamina and endurance...that's why dancing is not taking away from Floyd but building muscles that he hasn't used before. Floyd has taken on a HUGE time demand, and the actual dancing is only a small part of it.
For example, while Ricky worked out yesterday, and then rested. Floyd worked out, and then took a flight to LA, took a limo to the studio, got dressed, did makeup, walked down the stairs, sat two hours for the show, and then went back to his hotel room, He did not dance a lick. That comes tonite.
These shows are extraordinarily demanding of your time. All the pre-production work.
Since the beginning of time, a training camp has been about working out hard, and resting ALOT. Floyd works hard - no doubt. Where's the rest?
But he CHOSE to take this on, so NO EXCUSES.Comment

Floyd claims to go toe-to-toe with his opponents before a fight, but come fight time has refrained from doing so against the bigger guys. Hatton knows his limitations and has never claimed to be a silky smooth boxer. Why promise fireworks and fail to deliver? Floyd conned many before the DLH fight, we no longer expect Floyd to stay true to his word.expecting Floyd Mayweather to **** out is like expecting Hatton to skillfully outbox and out maneuver Floyd which is pretty ****ing dumb, think about it why is Floyd going to step outside of his realm to slug out with someone who has more wins by knockout?? the problem is people tend to think with their hearts and not with their heads, they would rather go out in a blaze of glory and lose rather than play their position and win and people get mad when Floyd isn't as dumb as them, if Ricky wanted to brawl he should have fought Oscar and let Floyd fight Shane or Cotto, either that or call up Vince McMahon and join the WWE or something.. 100Comment

This is one of the most objective posts I have read on NSB.Mayweather did make a point that I think people who only look for blood and guts fights need to remember, its "boxing" not "toe to toe". Floyd's word is he will win.. the reason why he says all that **** before a fight, you already know this by the way, the reason why is because he wants to keep himself interesting, he wants to sell the fight and have people speculating but they should already know what he's gonna do. Do you think it's a coincidence that he's the most talked about fighter right now? it's a known fact that people want Floyd to fight toe to toe, it's a known fact he's been talking about going straight at Hatton but use your head for a second, against Ricky Hatton, is coming forward and ****ing toe to toe a smart way to win? would you do that against Hatton? would you fight in close so he could grab you up all night and tear ya body up if you FLoyd fighting Ricky when you possess all the skills to OUTBOX him?Floyd claims to go toe-to-toe with his opponents before a fight, but come fight time has refrained from doing so against the bigger guys. Hatton knows his limitations and has never claimed to be a silky smooth boxer. Why promise fireworks and fail to deliver? Floyd conned many before the DLH fight, we no longer expect Floyd to stay true to his word.
one thing is one Floyd is gonna talk his **** but he knows when to put that all aside because he's putting his lively hood on the line here, Ricky can hurt him badly if he connects and you actually want Floyd to sit there and risk it? c'mon man you need to know that this is all a hustle so yes he's gonna say whatever he has to say to keep you interested but come fight night he's gonna do what he gotta do to win regardless if it's contraire to his pre fight hype, common sense tells you this dogz don't feed into that ****ing away ****, thas why MMA is there and even still they grab WAYYYYYY more than what boxers do, maybe not more than what Ricky Hatton does but more than your average boxing match, don't go by what he's saying dogz cuz it's his hands that do the talking.. 100Comment

Amazing...
He's more ****ing boring to listen to, than he is to watch fight...
Half the reporters were walking away before the end of the interview..
He recons he is more popular than ODH.....What planet is he on...the sad thing is..he really believes that...
In the Hatton fight, if it were a stadioum with enough seats, 80% would be Hatton fans, 10% PBF fans , and 10% neutral, but wanting to see PBF get his arse kicked purely because he is a tool..
He speaks alot...but in reality says very little....just repeats the alst word he just said...about 5 times...
if I spoke like that...I'd keep my dumb mouth closed..Comment
