I don't know he had a decent chin; but Gatti was shot a LONG time ago. He took lots of clean punches in more than a dozen fights.

I'm not questioning that Floyd has decent power, it's just that your example, Corrales, happened to be someone with genuine china

Yeah, i guess it was bad example what im trying to say is. hatton never faced someone wth the power and speed. so how do these people know floyd cant knock him out?

Don't mistake all my bull**** on here, I'm actually picking Floyd to stop Hatton. But Hatton won't go down for a ten-count. The thing is he cuts, and an accurate puncher can stop a bleeder. I don't think hatton will be badly hurt, but one cut above the eye and Floyd digs at it long enough . . .

Thats true, in the uk Hatton would be allowed to fight in with cuts as they make it clear to the ref b4 the fight that he has a problem with getting cut. In the usa its a different matter.

It's possible that Floyd can knock out Hatton but it's unlikely. A stoppage for cuts is far more feasible, but a decision win for Floyd is the most likely result (if I'm being absolutely objective). Hatton packs more power than Floyd without a doubt, and if it was a punching contest then Hatton would knock out Floyd before Floyd could knock out Hatton (don't forget that Floyd has perrrenial hand problems). Truth is that Floyd is too slippery and Hatton is too tough for a kayo for either fighter. This fight has decision written all over it.

Gatti was stopped by TKO, he was not knocked out for ten. Nor did he quit. His corner pulled him out, and quite right too.
